The Follow up EP to Enigma, Perplexity is the evolution of the themes surrounding the events that have led me down my current path. More subdued and introspective, with an afterthought of what it means to be who I am, in a place I don't comprehend anymore.
The Opening "A Strange Beautiful Embrace" captivates and haunts, with it's wistful piano melody, intertwined between ambient guitars and textures.
The Dreamlike and bittersweet "Inside Out" with it's layers of ambient guitars and soundscapes takes you to that part you keep hidden deep inside, and reminds you that you are beautiful... inside... and out.
The closing "Perplexity" is edgy, moody, exotic, arabian, and reflects the aesthetic of the composers sound in one composition.
Special thanks to Nathon Giorgetti on Cello on "Perplexity" & Burgs and co. for the hospitality shown recently, which has left me less perplexed lately.
